The legendary Japanese watch brand G-SHOCK designs models for the whole family, adults and children alike. Recently, it presented special adult models and collabs celebrating its 40th anniversary (several articles available on this site). Not forgetting the little ones, G-SHOCK unveils a project imagined with Warner Bros based on the Baby-G 565 model.
We remember the Baby-G 169 revisited by the HARIBO confectionery brand, released for Christmas 2022. For back-to-school 2023, G-SHOCK has teamed up with WARNER BROS. Discovery Global Consumer Products to create a Baby-G 565 paying homage to Looney Tunes’ famous yellow canary, ‘Tweety’. In a style that’s both playful and elegant, this watch features a pale beige-yellow strap and bezel, accompanied by bright yellow bracelet rings and buckle. To affirm the homage to the cheerful and endearing Looney Tunes character, the watch’s white dial is adorned with numerous light gray prints of Tweety’s head. When the LED backlight is activated, his silhouette lights up on the LCD screen. The image of the famous canary is engraved on the back of the steel case, and the “Tweety” logo is embossed in black on the strap.
The watch will be delivered in a special decorated and co-branded case.
The Warner Bros. x G-SHOCK Baby-G 565 “Tweety” is available from September 1, 2023 for €119 ($128), in selected boutiques, at the G-SHOCK Store Paris and online at gshock.casio.com. Let’s go and have a great back-to-school season !
