The famous Japanese watch brand G-SHOCK has been making eye-catching collaborations for the end of 2022. After proposing us a Super Mario Bros special model in November, the Japanese brand unveils a new childish and playful association : a BABY-G watch designed with the iconic candy brand HARIBO.
The model used as a basis for this collab is the BG-169, which is characterized by its small size.
Arriving for the holiday season, this collab can be an ideal Christmas gift for women, teens and children.
The special BG-169HRB-7ER watch has a fun and playful look representing the Haribo universe. It’s particularly inspired by the brand’s famous ‘Goldbears’ candy.
This special edition features a semi-transparent white matte resin strap and case that highlight the colorful elements referring to the famous ‘teddy’ candies. The entire surface of the dial is decorated with the iconic HARIBO Goldbears silhouettes : yellow lemon flavor, red raspberry flavor, orange identical flavor and green apple flavor. The EL (electroluminescent) backlighting of the watch also displays a pattern of HARIBO Goldbears shapes. To ensure homage, the pair is adorned with other neat details, the buttons around the dial are dressed in these bright, gourmet colors, a gold Goldbear icon is printed on the band ring, and the case back is engraved with the Goldbear and HARIBO logo.
The watch comes in a special packaging featuring the famous candy motif.
The G-SHOCK BABY-G BG-169HRB-7ER x HARIBO is available for 119€ ($125) in the G-SHOCK store in Paris, at selected retailers like 43einhalb and online at casio.com. Don’t sleep !
