Artistic director of the Japanese brand Asics’ Sportstyle line, Kiko Kostadinov allows the revival of forgotten models and the development of innovative silhouettes. The Bulgarian-born designer’s studio recently reworked the famous Asics GEL-1130 and now presents a new version of the GEL-QUANTUM 360: the US3-S GEL-QUANTUM 360 VII KISO.
The famous designer has reworked this silhouette with his fashion touch and inspired by other models in the ASICS catalog.
This US3-S GEL-QUANTUM 360 VII KISO is a technical shoe with an eye-catching aesthetic that combines elements of the GEL-TRAIL ATTACK 5, GEL-TIOGA and GEL-TRABUCO 13.
It appears in 3 colorways reminiscent of nature and mountain inspired trail shoes : Green/Demitasse, Grey/Graphite and Grey/Cayenne.
The model consists of an upper that mixes technical and breathable mesh with synthetic overlays of different textures. The iconic Tiger Stripes on the side provide a nice touch of contrasting color and the two-tone flat laces ensure the design. The whole is based on a full-length GEL technology midsole with FF BLAST cushioning in the heel for added comfort and performance.
This US3-S GEL-QUANTUM 360 VII KISO is now available in Japan at selected retailers like atmos and online on asics.com/jp, priced at $134 (¥19,800) per colorway. It should arrive very soon in the rest of the world, don’t sleep !
