Streetwear brand UNDEFEATED and Nike unveil a new collaborative version of the hyper popular Dunk Low silhouette. After giving us a glimpse of the « Canteen » colorway a few days ago (article available HERE), a blue and purple iteration has surfaced on social media.
Like the « Canteen » version, this Dunk Low is suggested to be part of the « Dunk vs Air Force 1 » pack. The latter seems to be inspired by the Air Force 1 InsideOut collabs from 2006 : 2021’s Dunk Low would be dressed in the colorway of the 2006’s AF1. The iteration unveiled today would be based on the purple colorway that was in a limited edition of 500 pairs.
The sneaker features a bright blue leather base with snakeskin overlays on the eyelets and forefoot. Purple panels and a white suede side Swoosh add flair to the pair. To complete the look, the tongue, back of foot, inner lining and laces are adorned in the main colorway of bright blue. The Nike heel branding appears in white, as does UNDEFEATED’s Five Strikes logo on the side heel and tongue tag. A purple insole with « Dunk vs AF 1 » on it asserts the design. The whole is based on a white midsole and a purple outsole.
The UNDEFEATED x Nike Dunk Low « Blue/Purple » is expected to be released during June 2021, along with the other pairs in the « Dunk vs Air Force 1 » pack, at select retailers and on nike.com. More info to come, stay tuned !
