The famous SOLEBOX shop ends 2022 as it ended 2021 : in style, with a collaborative BAPE STA. This exclusive sneaker pays tribute to the 5-year partnership between the iconic German store and the Japanese brand BAPE.
Last year, SOLEBOX and BAPE cemented their alliance by introducing an exclusive BAPE STA featuring a Camo pattern and made in Italy from premium materials. This collaborative version combined BAPE’s world famous signature style with SOLEBOX’s simplicity and highest quality craftsmanship. This pair was released with a co-branded clothing collection.
After the success of the 1st opus, the partners have created a new version with a similar design. This 2nd reinterpretation consists of a mix of identical premium materials, keeps its OG shape, is also made in Italy and features a slightly retouched color palette.
The shoe features a camouflage pattern line all around the upper in light grey suede close to beige. Unlike last year’s version, this pair features a sideways ‘shooting star’ logo in almost identical coloring to the upper. To affirm the high-end style and attention to detail, the shoe is adorned with a smooth white leather inner lining, features special SOLEBOX branding (with BAPE’s star in the letter ‘O’) at the heel, has an engraved metal upper eyelet ‘A BATHING APE’ and features a white/black BAPE STA tongue tag. White laces and an off-white sole seamlessly finalize the refined and luxurious design.
The sneaker will be delivered in a special box, customized for the occasion.
To celebrate this iconic collaboration and showcase the pair, SOLEBOX called upon the talented stylist and model Bloody Osiris. Known for having worked with the late Virgil Aboh and Travis Scott, this Harlem (New York) native has taken on his unconventional style and is a role model for many young people.
The Solebox x A BATHING APE BAPE STA 2022 will be released on December 30, 2022 in all SOLEBOX stores and online at solebox.com, bape.com and shop.doverstreetmarket.com. Be ready !
