The German retailer SOLEBOX ends the year 2021 in style by presenting an exclusive collaboration that should delight all sneaker lovers. The famous shop offers us the very first BAPE STA Made in Italy silhouette.
With this remodeled sneaker, SOLEBOX wishes to pay tribute to its long-standing and exclusive partnership with the iconic Japanese brand BAPE.
Aljoscha Kondratiew, from Solebox’s creative team, explains on his Instagram account that he wanted to keep the OG shape of the iconic silhouette while dressing it up with high-quality materials. It’s a sneaker he’s particularly fond of and reminds him of his 1st trip to New York, during which he was able to purchase his first pair of BAPE STA.
This Made in Italy shoe is composed of a grey suede upper covered with a subtle and meticulous BAPE signature Camo pattern in tone on tone and in relief. The famous shooting star logo on the side appears in cream color, matching the inner lining. In terms of branding details, the white tongue tag is adorned with the usual black BAPE STA and the SOLE BOX logo is embroidered in white on the double heel tab. To affirm the collab, a star was added inside the « O » of « SOLE ». To complete the refined look, we find a metallic silver dubrae with the BAPE branding and the other elements, such as the insole, laces and sole are presented in white.
To accompany this exclusive sneaker, a limited capsule collection of clothing will also be offered.
The SOLEBOX x BAPE STA will be released on December 30, 2021, in stores and online at solebox.com, exclusively via a raffle set up on the shop’s website. Be ready !
