In addition to the LEGO x adidas Ultra Boost released two days ago (article available HERE), the German giant and the legendary Danish toy brand LEGO present a new collaboration. The two partners have reworked once again the iconic ZX 8000 silhouette and declined it in 6 classic colorways of the famous bricks to assemble.
These 6 iterations are dressed in each of LEGO’s iconic colors : blue, yellow, red and green, as well as the less bold shades of black and grey.
The shoes all adopt the same design, with the same details and features.
They consist of a striped mesh upper with matching suede overlays. The iconic adidas 3-Stripes on the side are dressed in white with yellow outlines. To complete the look, the LEGO logo adorns the tongue and insoles. The plastic lace eyelets and dubraes have been modified to resemble the famous bricks, and the heel counter features patterns that mimic the surface of these toys. The whole is based on a Torsion technology sole, matching the color of the upper.
The pairs come in special boxes, shaped to look like a LEGO brick.
The LEGO x adidas ZX 8000 pack will be released on April 23, 2021, at select retailers such as 43einhalb and likely on adidas.com. These pairs will be available in family sizes, priced at 110$ for sizes EU 36 to EU 40 and 150£ from EU 40 2/3 to EU 47 1/3. Don’t sleep !
