Nike continues to introduce the pairs that are part of the « Fruity Pack » planned to celebrate the famous 4/20 day. In addition to the SB Dunk High « Pineapple » and the SB Dunk Low « Blue Raspberry » (article available HERE), the SB Dunk Low « Cherry » and « Green Apple » have surfaced.
Just like the other SB Dunk Low in this special collection, the 2 recently unveiled versions feature a leather and suede construction. They are also adorned with illustrations corresponding to their respective fruit, which can be found affixed to the inner tongue tag. The fruit in question is customized with special facial expressions, frequently seen in soft drug users. The « 4/20 » holiday being the annual day dedicated to soft drugs.
The « Cherry » consists of a cherry red leather base with darker red-burgundy suede overlays and a brick red side Swoosh. The « Green Apple » features a white base with apple green suede overlays and a dark green side Swoosh. To complete the look, the laces appear in the shade chosen for the suede overlays and the inner lining matches the color of the upper. Completing the two-tone style, the whole is based on a white midsole and a burgundy red or apple green outsole depending on the version.
The Nike SB Dunk Low « Cherry » and « Green Apple » are expected to be released during Spring 2022 via the « Fruity Pack » at select skateshops and on nike.com. More details to come, stay tuned !
