The high-end New Balance Made in USA line continues to expand its 990 collection. In addition to the 990v3 « Raw Amethyst » version released a few days ago (article available HERE), Teddy Santis offers us a new 990v2 in a bold « Marigold » colorway.
With the help of Teddy Santis as Artistic Director of New Balance Made in USA, the Boston’s sportswear brand gains in originality, while maintaining its DNA and premium materials.
Like the NB 990 v3 « Raw Amethyst », this new 990v2 brings a breath of fresh air to the New Balance Made in USA catalog.
It consists of an upper combining mesh and suede in a vibrant shade of orange « Marigold ». This base is complemented by black suede inserts, such as the side N logo, heel tab and overlays on the toe box. Shades of white and off-white used on the tongue, inner lining, laces, insole and midsole with ABZORB technology elegantly finalize the look. The whole is based on a harmonious black rubber outsole.
The New Balance 990v2 Made in USA « Marigold » will be released on August 12, 2022 at select retailers and on newbalance.com, for a price of $195. Don’t sleep !
