The famous British label PALACE continues to impress us with its new collaboration offers. After working with prestigious Italian brand GUCCI last month, Lev Tanju’s team posted a video on their Instagram account featuring soccer legend : Zinedine ‘ZIZOU’ Zidane and pro skateboarder Lucas Puig to promote their collection developed with ADIDAS Y-3.
PALACE has partnered with ADIDAS in the past, but this exclusive capsule marks the 1st collaboration with Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto.
The British label brought its touch to iconic Y-3 pieces and thus participates in the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the partnership between Yohji Yamamoto and ADIDAS that led to the creation of Y-3, one of the first stylish sportswear lines.
The collection features apparel, footwear and accessories drawn from the Y-3 archives and redesigned with the PALACE touch.
34 products in total which includes down jackets and reversible jackets, a green rain jacket, iconic tracksuits, hoodies, t-shirts, but also a blazer and a sweater. The capsule also includes a soccer jersey and matching ball design, beanies, caps, bucket hats and a silver shoulder bag. Some pieces are presented in solid colors : blue, black, green or white and others have a flower pattern. They are adorned with cult branding details, exclusive co-branding and sometimes illustration of a rose.
On the footwear side, PALACE reinterpreted the famous Y-3 YUUTO archival sneaker. Available in black, light green or white with a red rose pattern, this model consists of a textile upper enhanced by a tonal TPU cage. A concealed internal lacing system, tongue branding and an adiPRENE outsole that blends into the upper finish off the design seamlessly.
The Palace x Y-3 FW22 Collection, highlighted by Zizou and Lucas Puig, will be released on November 11, 2022 in stores and online at palaceskateboard.com and on the adidas CONFIRMED app. Be ready !
