The famous British label PALACE continues its momentum of high-end collaborations. After offering us a collaboration with Calvin Klein in April (article available HERE), the brand founded by Lev Tanju and Gareth Skewis is silencing the rumors and confirming the release of its collection with the iconic Italian fashion house GUCCI.

Alessandro Michele, GUCCI’s creative director, and the founders of PALACE described the collab as « a meeting point of sensibilities, a synthesis of the street, a dichotomous fusion, a clash of worlds, a clash of opposites. » They continued : « This collection discovers not a divergence but a convergence, a mirror of approaches, obsessions and meanings that unify the two brands in a single aesthetic expression. »

GUCCI and PALACE have merged their two creative worlds through this collection. GUCCI’s heritage and legacy are mixed with PALACE’s pattern series and applied to streetwear pieces.

Among the unisex clothing and accessories, the first women’s ready-to-wear items make their appearance. These collaborative pieces are adorned with an exclusive co-branding : the double G of GUCCI is associated with the Tri-Freg of PALACE.

The pieces include shearling and denim jackets with faux fur and crystal details, jacquard knit bombers, plaid shirts with embroidered details, baggy jeans, a kilt, hoodies and tie-dye vests, soccer jerseys with round and polo collars, knit tank tops, a nylon tracksuit, and 2 styles of graphic cotton jersey t-shirts.

GUCCI and PALACE also offer for the ladies canvas mini skirts, swimwear tops and bootcut jeans.

The collection also features leather goods, such as a canvas duffle bag, a small leather shoulder bag in Tri-ferg shape, messenger bags, a patent leather or canvas tote bag, mini half-moon bags, Tri-ferg shaped wallets and purses, an Airpod case and even a safe !

As for other accessories, PALACE has brought its style to Fedora belts, caps and bucket hats, as well as a chapka and beanies. The collection also includes umbrellas and a silk pillow.

On the footwear side, the Horsebit moccasin by GUCCI has been revisited and adorned with a « P » charm by PALACE, leather sneakers and co-branded sandals have also been made.

The centerpiece of the collection : a leather biker jacket and pants set and above all a co-branded V7 motorcycle designed in collaboration with MOTO GUZZI, limited to 50 pieces.

The Gucci x Palace collection will be released on October 21, 2022 on the GUCCI VAULT website and in GUCCI VAULT pop stores in Paris, Milan, Tokyo, Osaka and Bangkok, as well as in PALACE shops in London, New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo. Be ready !
