The legendary brand CONVERSE seems to bet on collaborations to keep its place among the leaders in the field of lifestyle sneakers. After working recently with CLOT, Stüssy or UNDERCOVER, the CONVERSE team presents its first collaboration with the famous Chicago boutique : NOTRE.
For this first association, NOTRE has chosen to reinterpret 2 iconic silhouettes of the brand CONVERSE, the Chuck 70 and the One Star.
These collaborative pairs draw their inspiration from the interior of homes, with a nod to craftsmanship and thoughtful, warm decoration.
The Chuck 70 is offered in 2 versions, one with a patchwork pattern in shades of grey and the other more classic one with a combination of mahogany and ivory.
The first one, called « Textile », recalls the different kinds of textiles that can be found in the interiors of homes. It combines different fabrics, some with a zig-zag pattern characteristic of bedspreads, and others plain or corduroy. NOTRE branding on the insole and right heel badge, grey metal eyelets and a classic white sole complete the look.
The 2nd version named « Furniture » pays homage to the furniture of the house. In a mahogany brown colorway, it sports a twill-woven canvas upper paired with suede accents. A woven CONVERSE ankle patch in ivory/mahogany, a brown NOTRE badge on the right heel and ivory white elements such as the inner lining, laces and sole complete the look.
The One Star « Ceramic » has a minimalist design. It comes in white in a combination of canvas and suede. The layered effect on the bottom of the foot and the exposed tone-on-tone stitching details evoke the process of making ceramic objects. NOTRE branding on the insole and a light grey outsole add the finishing touch.
The Notre x Converse Chuck 70 and One Star collection will be released on November 12, 2022, in stores and online at partner sites notre-shop.com and converse.com, as well as at select retailers.
