At the end of December 2022, the brand at the Jumpman had started to unveil its upcoming collection in tribute to the Chinese New Year 2023. The previously presented Air Jordan 1 Low « Year of the Rabbit » will be released along with a full range of sneakers and apparel.
To celebrate the year of the ‘Rabbit’, the footwear offering revolves around an Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low, limited to 5,000 numbered pairs, an Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT, Air Jordan Legacy 312, Air Jordan 23, Jordan Luka 1, Jordan 23/7 and Jordan Series .05.
Featuring the famous animal, these shoes are made of special materials and are dressed in a color palette reminiscent of the rabbit’s coat. They adopt colors in shades of white, gold, brown, light green, with sometimes touches of red. These special editions are made from suede and leather, and feature plush details that make a statement.
The unisex apparel collection includes classic streetwear pieces such as hoodies, zip-up vests, tracksuit bottoms, shorts, cargo-inspired wide-leg pants, various types of t-shirts, but also sherpa jackets. These items feature Jordan Brand’s CNY emblem and are presented in colors that match the sneakers perfectly to ensure the look and honor of the 2023 animal, the rabbit.
The Jordan Brand « Year of the Rabbit » collection is expected to be released on Chinese New Year’s Day, January 22, 2023 or a few days before, at select retailers and on nike.com. Stay tuned for more information !
