For almost 30 years, the GEL-Kayano has been the leader of the ASICS running offer. Every year, the Asics team in Kobe, Japan works hard to develop and improve the performance of the next model in this line.
The brand new GEL-Kayano 29 has just been introduced. It has been further improved in terms of responsiveness and stability.
Already, this running shoe is ultra light, it’s 10 grams less than its predecessor thanks to the advanced technologies implemented by the Japanese company and by reducing the layers. The sneaker consists of an elastic knit upper that guarantees breathability and comfortable fit. Among other improvements and novelties to the model, the midsole incorporates LITETRUSS technology on the midfoot, which provides premium stability and comfort. Anti-twist plastic is replaced with this new rigid foam technology that helps prevent the athlete’s foot from moving too far inward during the stride, providing protection during long runs. To further enhance comfort, the GEL-Kayano 29 features an internal counter with additional external TPU support to stabilize the heel during the stride and energy return. FF BLAST PLUS cushioning integrated into the upper layer of the sole ensures enhanced activity with every step.
