For the Air Max Day 2022, special pairs have been designed by NIKE and customs have surfaced. Just like the New York creative studio CEEZE (article available HERE), the German shop AFEW unveils its own exclusive version of the legendary Air Max 1.
The AFEW team wanted to bring a futurist touch to Tinker Hatfield’s design. They enlisted the help of psychologist and artist @Olivia.acar for the concept, as well as @tornschuhjette to create this unique model.
Showcasing a white upper with grey overlays, this exclusive AM1 was made entirely of materials from vintage Nike pieces. This base is combined with a 3D printed and completely customizable, removable/removable exo-skeleton with the help of the recessed screws. The iconic side Swoosh is adorned with a colorful print in shades of blue and orange painted by Olivia Acar. This artistic detail also adorns the insole. The look is completed with an orange « 3/26 » dubrae, as well as a blue inner lining and heel Air unit. The whole is based on a white midsole coupled with a gum outsole.
The 1 of 1 NIKE AIR MAX 1 by OLIVIA ACAR – created by TORNSCHUHJETTE will be released on Air Max Day, March 26, 2022, via a raffle at AFEW’s Give Fresh Air Flea Marker to be held in Düsseldorf at Ergo Ipsum, Herzogstraße 89, between 12pm and 6pm. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to the charity @voice_of_children, to help children in Ukraine.
