After offering us the 2nd part of its « Renegades » collection a few days ago, TOKYO 23, the shop managed by ATMOS, unveils a collaboration with the legendary American brand Mitchell & Ness.
Founded in 1904 in Philadelphia by Flank P. Mitchell, a wrestler and tennis champion, and Charles M. Ness, a Scottish golfer, Mitchell & Ness is a well-established sports manufacturer.
This brand fully supports the NBA and is a popular brand as a long established vintage jersey brand. With the motto « High quality, high tech tailoring », the company is still active today in the NBA (basketball), MLB (baseball), NFL (soccer), NHL (ice hockey), NCAA (college sports association), NBA (basketball), MLB (baseball), NFL (soccer), NHL (ice hockey), also the NCAA (college sports association) and the AA (college sports association) and MLS (soccer). It manages many official licensed training apparel products.
The 2 partners created a satin bomber jacket featuring the fictional TOKYO 23 basketball team, the Renegades.
The RENEGADES collection has so far developed sports pants, funnel neck sweatshirts, t-shirts, training shirts and shorts, as well as headwear. This new collaborative piece completes the Renegades offering.
The Mitchell & Ness x TOKYO23 jacket in black satin with white lettering completes the RENEGADES outfit. It’s made from a high quality, thick and durable satin fabric. The RENEGADES logo is prominently displayed on the back and chest. It appears more specifically in the form of the basketball logo on the front and written in capital letters on the back. TOKYO 23 is embroidered in white below the left patch pocket and Mitchell & Ness adorns the lower left sleeve. White/grey trim on the cuffs and collar ensure the design.
The Mitchell & Ness x TOKYO23 RENEGADES satin jacket will be released on November 19, 2022 at the TOKYO 23 store and online via a raffle at atmos-tokyo.com for $175 (¥25,300).
