The partnership between the prestigious New York steetwear brand SUPREME and the Californians from VANS continues in 2020. After having proposed a collaborative collection called « Fuck The World » in October 2019, the two partners are now presenting a « Hole Punch Denim » pack composed of two duos of sneakers, based on the legendary SK8-Hi Pro and Slip-On Pro silhouettes.
« Hole Punch Denim » is a perforation pattern. This print, which gives the material a worn-out effect, was unveiled a few weeks ago on the SUPREME denim trucker jacket from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
The pattern appears on a blue denim background for one duo of sneakers and black denim for the other.
The SK8-Hi Pro silhouette benefits from a toe box, tongue and laceguard in navy blue or black suede, depending on the colorway. We find also the emblematic side stripe in white suede and a classic Off the Wall white and black tongue branding coupled with the Supreme brand. To complete the design, an embroidered SUPREME inscription is applied in a circular pattern on the heel.
On the Slip-On Pro, the Vans branding label appears sewn underneath the white retaining elastic on the side of the shoe.
Each pair of this pack has white stitching and a leather inner lining, giving it a distinctive look. The whole is based on the legendary white sole with a black line and featuring the red Vans badge, on which the Supreme brand is added.
The SUPREME x VANS « Hole Punch Denim » pack, composed of two duos of SK8-Hi Pro and Slip-On Pro, will be available exclusively on July 9, 2020 in Supreme stores and on Supremenewyork.com. It will be available two days later on July 11th in Japan.
