After teaming up with legendary workwear brand CARHARTT WIP earlier this year (article available HERE), STRAY RATS is solidifying its partnership with equipment manufacturer NEW BALANCE with a new collaborative pair. The Miami-based New York label is reinterpreting another iconic NB silhouette, the MT 580.
Previously, Stray Rats has brought its unique touch to the famous NB 991, NB 574 and NB 827.
The New York-based label unveils an NB 580 paying homage to the OG True Form colorway. This variation refers to the year 2007, when New Balance introduced this model for the first time.
This NB 580 collaborative will be offered in 2 versions. Each pair is dressed with touches of bright colors. One opts for a charcoal grey mesh upper, and the other in purple. These bases are complemented by black suede overlays and contrasting pink, yellow or green elements, such as the iconic N logo on the side of the purple version. White or light grey New Balance branded heels tabs and brightly colored dubraes with the Stray Rats logo complete the look. The whole is based on a Green Rollbar midsole and a purple rubber outsole that harmoniously finalize the design.
