On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of « The Empire Stikes Back », Adidas has once again partnered with the Star Wars franchise to offer us a series of collaborations on different cult silhouettes of the German brand. Today, it’s the famous Adidas Top Ten HI that comes to represent the C-3PO robot.
The pair, ultra faithful to the C-3PO colors, is dressed in a shiny golden leather. We find a personalized tab label with the words C-3PO and its head. Golden dubrés, « Star » on one side and « Wars » on the other, give an exclusive status to the model. The whole is based on a white midsole and a rubber outsole.
An Ultra Boost « Yoda » and an NMD R1 « Stormtroopers » should certainly be released at the same time as the Top Ten High.
The film was released on May 21, 1980, so it’s likely that this collaboration will soon be available in stores. Stay tuned …
