Building on the success of its reinterpreted Air Force 1 (article available HERE), the fashion brand PEACEMINUSONE of the artist G-Dragon is once again partnering with the American giant Nike. The label of the South Korean K-pop icon unveils its own signature model PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1.
After giving us a first look a few days ago, the South Korean rapper presents this new silhouette in more detail.
The shoe features a low cut and a design inspired by G-Dragon’s forward-thinking approach. It consists of a smooth white leather upper with perforations on the wing-tip overlays that can echo the details of stylish loafers. Also reminiscent of golf shoes, this silhouette features a white flipped leather tongue with black PEACEMINUSONE branding on one foot and Nike Swoosh on the other. To make a statement, the iconic side Swoosh appears subtly in tone on tone and the familiar Marguerite motif is embroidered on the heel and stands out in relief under the outsole. An all-white tapered sole completes the design.
The PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 is set to release in January 2022, at select retailers and nike.com for 180$. More details to come, stay tuned !
