ORILABO Project

The fashion world has a new brand : ORILABO. Founded by Jan ten Brinke and Yuki Suzuki, this label conveys Japanese values and offers international styles. It aims to create timeless, beautiful and sustainable clothing, with an emphasis on transparency and the valorization of fashion craftsmanship. ORILABO presents its very first collection.

With its Japanese heritage, this new brand introduces Omotenashi in Germany : the Japanese philosophy that creates a link between the 3 values of empathy, joy and authenticity.

ORILABO wants to convey this vision to its audience and convince them with a « business to human » mentality. The clothing and packaging are produced in a sustainable manner and designed with great attention to detail. These fair trade pieces are manufactured by a Portuguese family business. ORILABO wants to « show the heroes behind the clothes », so the place of production and the seamstresses are mentioned on the label of each garment.

The 1st ORILABO collection includes 14 different models for women and men. It consists of timeless streetwear pieces such as short-sleeved t-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, vests, tracksuit bottoms and shorts. We also discover skirts and gusseted tops as well as light jackets. All in an attractive and refined color palette, ranging from black to white, including mottled grey, khaki green and coral orange. These items have a simple look and a comfortable fit. They all feature the subtle origami bird logo and/or Orilabo project branding.

The 1st ORILABO collection will be released on May 8, 2022, in correlation with the launch of the orilabo.com website. You can sign up now for the newsletter to get exclusive access to the pre-launch of the brand. Don’t hesitate to follow @orilaboproject on Instagram !
