A few weeks ago, a new Air Max 1 colorway was released with a “Crepe” sole. Being quite a fan of this kind of outsole that can be found on the Crepe Hemp, I wanted to see more closely this colorway “Soft Grey” for which my opinion was mixed.
Having had the chance to receive it thanks to my partner FOOTSHOP, I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.
The pair consists of a canvas and suede upper in light and dark grey. We find a light grey swoosh on the side panels. The whole is based on a white midsole and a Crepe gum outsole.
To be honest, once in hand, I was not a fan of the “Soft Grey”, especially with tone-on-tone laces of grey color. Being delivered without extra laces, I decided to put on cream colored fuzzy laces which, in my opinion, transformed the pair. So I’ll let you judge for yourself the final result.
