Legend has it that the designer created this silhouette inspired by World War II fighter jets, in particular the famous shark teeth on the nose of the planes. But this has never been confirmed or contradicted by the main interest.
It was in 1990 with the “Fire Red” that Michael Jordan scored a record number of 69 points during a match between Cleveland and Chicago.
A very popular shoe when it came out, it was used in many episodes of the famous TV show « The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air ». Will Smith regularly wore the « Metallic Silver », « Grape » and « Fire Red » colorways.
This new reissue seems rather faithful to the original model, with notably the return of the famous « Nike Air » on the heel or tongue in 3M materials. The pair is dressed in white leather and a translucent cage. Also, several touches of red and black enhance the overall style of the shoe. The whole is based on the famous OG sole, on which we find the famous red teeth.
