The division dedicated to skateboarding, NB Numeric, works hard to present us with silhouettes that are both robust and stylish. The latest : the NB Numeric 808, the 2nd signature shoe of skateboarding pro Tiago Lemos.
NB MUMERIC has signed some creative pro skaters over the past few years. Like Margielyn Didal and her 272, Tiago Lemos unveils a new signature shoe with an eye-catching design.
After a 1st opus released in 2020, the Numeric 1010, the Brazilian skateboarder worked with Team NB to create a 2nd shoe inspired by the 90’s.
Tiago Lemos commented : « New Balance made my dream come true for the second time. The 808 skateshoes are super solid and look fresh. It reminds me of my favorite era in skateboarding, the 90’s. »
The NB Numeric 808 consists of an upper combining mesh, suede and leather. The white and grey base is complemented by a navy blue mudguard surrounding the foot and a towering light grey side logo with white outlines. The famous « N » has a modern aesthetic that seems to be carried over from the latest Boston-based silhouettes, such as the XC-72. An additional touch of color is provided by a red heel tab and a red border on the white tongue. The whole is based on a thick white ABZORB midsole and a navy blue and red Ndurance outsole that accentuates the durability and feel on the board.
The New Balance Numeric x Tiago Lemos 808 will be released on September 1, 2022 in select skateshops and on newbalance.com, priced at $100.
