After having inspired great streetwear brands like KITH, JJJJOUND and LEVI’S (articles available on this site), the famous NB 990V3 silhouette, combining performance and lifestyle, appears in a brand new colorway available only at ATMOS and New Balance Japan.
The American brand and the Japanese shop are faithful partners. They regularly present us with eye-catching collabs. Atmos brings its touch to classic silhouettes as well as to recent releases (several articles available on this site). The Tokyo imprint also has the privilege to offer us limited versions only available in Japan, in its stores and on its website. This is the case of this 990V3 in the new colorway M990CP3.
This exclusive version has a casual-elegant look with a color palette of black, forest green, yellow and grey reflective. It consists of a black mesh upper with black and forest green suede overlays. To complete the design, the tongue top and heel tab appear in reflective 3M and the grey side N logo sports yellow and green finishes. A touch of yellow on the heel, as well as « Made in USA » on the heel tab, New Balance USA on the tongue and the « Heritage » badge on the insole add flair to the pair. To assert the vintage style, the inner lining comes in off-white mesh and the under heel part of the midsole sports a distressed white and light grey hue. The whole is based on top of the performance white ENCAP midsole and a black outsole that completes harmoniously the design.
The New Balance 990 V3 M990CP3 will be released only at ATMOS on March 5, 2022 in shop and online via an open raffle on atmos-tokyo.com, and in New Balance stores in Japan. The price is set at 275$ (¥31,900).
