Nike’s legendary silhouette that turns 40 this year, the AIR FORCE 1, is presented to us in a new makeup. While rumors of a « Grey » version designed with Off-White have surfaced (article available HERE), Cole Bennett, the founder of multimedia company LYRICAL LEMONADE, unveils an exclusive collaborative AF1 Low.
LYRICAL LEMONADE‘s beginnings date back to 2013 as a blog created by Cole Bennett. The amateur videographer with a passion for hip hop shot videos that he uploaded to his channel called Lyrical Lemonade, as well as live show recaps, cyphers, documentaries and interviews. Cole Bennett has directed videos of local Chicago artists and then of leading rappers such as Eminem, Kanye West, J.Cole or Wiz Khalifa. At the same time, Cole Bennet has developed a lemonade-based merchandise and beverage creation under the same name LYRICAL LEMONADE.
In February 2020, Cole Bennett’s media company collaborated with Jordan Brand on an Aerospace 720 released as part of the 8×8 collection. Now, LYRICAL LEMONADE is bringing its touch to the iconic Air Force 1 Low.
This special version features a premium design. It consists of a white leather upper, complemented by matching overlays. The side Swoosh adds a nice touch of contrast with its lemon yellow color and the side heel is adorned with Cole Bennett’s label logo. To harmoniously finalize the look, other elements such as the inner lining, laces and sole are presented in white.
The pair will come in a blue and yellow box featuring a lemon cut pattern, specially designed for the occasion.
