In this month of back to school and start of the fall season, many brands are revealing their new products. JULBO, the French brand of sports glasses, presents 9 new models of sunglasses which enrich an already well-stocked range.

JULBO was born in Morez, in the heart of the French eyewear valley in 1888. This eyewear company began as a manufacturer of protective glasses for stonemasons. Its activity for the creation of another type of glasses began at the beginning of the 20th century, at the request of Chamonix crystal makers keen to protect their eyes in the mountains. The brand designs the first “Cristalliers” glasses, which marks the beginning of Julbo solar optics, with a single idea in mind : innovation.

For several years, this company has been making its products sustainable. RILSAN (from seeds castor oil), a high-performance bio-sourced polymer makes up more than 75% of sunglasses. This material provides durability but also lightness and flexibility.

JULBO has a head start on the range of glasses. The new REACTIV 0-4 High Contrast photochromic lens offers the widest photochromic range on the market, the REACTIV 1-3 Glare Control features slight polarization, ideal for comfort and everyday versatility, and the SPECTRON HD Polarized lens provides vision high definition thanks to optimized color balancing and contrast.

Innovation has remained the primary objective of this brand, one of the leaders in the field of performance. JULBO now has ambitions in the world of lifestyle by developing models with a modern and eye-catching look.

The HERITAGE range is enriched with 2 pairs of glasses : LEGACY and AROUND.

The LEGACY model is the worthy heir of the Cham and Vermont glacier glasses. It is still adorned with modern touches so that it can be worn both in the mountains and in the city, such as the removable side protections. AROUND glasses are inspired by the same influences and opt for rounded shapes, metal frames and clean lines that combine the vintage spirit with a contemporary look.

The LIFESTYLE category, which includes the SHINE series which combines sobriety, elegance and performance and the THE STREETS model with a timeless look, is enriched with the trio SLACK, CANYON and CREEK which bring freshness with tangy colors, translucent materials and shapes originals.

The FAST & LIGHT performance range welcomes the FREQUENCY model which is equipped with a panoramic screen for a wider field of vision and reminiscent of glasses dedicated to cycling. It’s part of the new trend of sports glasses diverted to be worn as a fashion object.

The children’s line called LITTLE HEROES increases its offering with the WALK model. Offered in different sizes to match the faces of children of all ages, this pair of glasses provides maximum protection, includes anti-scratch treated lenses and comes in several attractive colors.
