KCDC x Nike SB Dunk High

Nike’s skateboarding division continues to invite skateshops around the world to reimagine cult silhouettes from its catalog. After a recent Blazer Mid reimagined by the Barcelona store SKATEDELUXE (article available HERE), Brooklyn shop KCDC is partnering with Nike SB to reinterpret the iconic Dunk High silhouette.

This collaboration is part of the celebration of the 20 years of the New York skateshop. First teased over the summer, the collaborative SB Dunk High appeared in detail and on foot today.

This sneaker comes in a combination of pink shades combined with black. It features a candy pink suede upper with light pink overlays also in suede. A nice touch of contrast is added by the color black was chosen to define the leather side Swoosh, inner lining, tongue tag, heel pull and laces. To affirm the collab and celebrate the shop’s 20th anniversary, the KCDC logo is embroidered on the heel strap and the special branding « KCDC 2001 » appears alongside the traditional Nike SB on the tongue tag. Mismatched pink and green insoles featuring « 20th anniversary » artwork, appearing to be handmade, complete the look. The whole is based on a black midsole and gum rubber outsole.

The KCDC x Nike SB Dunk High is expected to be released soon in store and on kcdcskateshop.com, as well as at select skateshops. We’re keeping a close eye on the Brooklyn store’s social media channels, so stay tuned for the latest official info !
