Le shop Ecossais Hanon revient avec un nouveau projet en collaboration avec New Balance. Habitué à travailler avec la marque de sneakers depuis 2004, Hanon a décidé de travailler sur une silhouette des années 70, la NB 520.
S’inspirant de ses propres racines, Hanon rend hommage au Nord-Est de l’Ecosse et à sa tradition de pêche dans les mers du Nord. A Peterhead on trouve le plus grand port de pêche de poisson blanc et de hareng au Royaume-Uni. Aberdeen Harbour est le plus ancien port existant au Royaume-Uni avec près de 900 ans d’histoire.
Hanon a réinterprété la NB520 en y intégrant le thème nautique par l’utilisation d’une palette de couleur marine. Le upper se compose de cuir épais et de cuir perforé aux différentes teintes de bleues. Seul le talon se compose d’un cuir épais de couleur noire. L’ensemble repose sur une semelle intercalaire blanche et une semelle extérieure turquoise.
Pour ce projet, HANON a également travaillé aux côtés du célèbre photographe britannique Ewen Spencer.
La HANON x New Balance U520HNF “Fisherman’s Blues” sortira le samedi 16 septembre 2017. Chaque sneakers sera complétée par trois paires de lacets, une boîte à chaussures sur mesure, et, un dust bag.

The Scottish shop Hanon returns with a new project in collaboration with New Balance. Accustomed to working with the brand of sneakers since 2004, Hanon decided to work on a silhouette of the 70s, the NB 520.
Inspired by its own roots, Hanon pays tribute to North-East Scotland and its tradition of fishing in the North Seas. In Peterhead there is the largest fishing port of white fish and herring in the United Kingdom. Aberdeen Harbor is the oldest existing commercial port in the UK with nearly 900 years of history.
Hanon has reimagined the NB520 by incorporating the nautical theme by the use of a palette of marine color. The upper consists of thick leather and perforated leather in various shades of blue. Only the heel consists of a thick black leather. The set is based on a white midsole and a turquoise outsole.
For this project, HANON also worked alongside the famous British photographer Ewen Spencer.
The HANON x New Balance U520HNF “Fisherman’s Blues” will be released on Saturday, September 16, 2017. Each sneaker will be completed with three pairs of laces, a custom shoe box, and a dust bag.
