Collection Napapijri x Fiorucci

Very popular in the 70s and 80s, thanks to pop star Madonna and artist Andy Warhol, the bold Italian brand FIORUCCI seemed to have disappeared in the early 90s. Back in the fashion sphere for a few years, the label created by Elio Fiorucci in 1967 presents today an unexpected collab with NAPAPIJRI, the outdoor clothing imprint.

This unisex collaboration, 100% Italian, confirms the current trend of the immersion of outdoor products in the world of fashion. It’s innovative and daring with the idea of « mountain climbers in a dazzling Discoteca ». This capsule combines the technical know-how of Napapijri with the creative style of Fiorucci.

Napapijri has become known for its minimalist, practical and durable outerwear. With Fiorucci, it adds a fashion lifestyle dimension to its range, including the new Northfarer technical jacket introduced for the occasion.

The collection also includes Fiorucci essentials : jeans, t-shirts, tracksuits, hoodies but also shorts, croc tops, hats and bucket hats. True to the Italian fashion imprint’s style, many of these pieces are covered with the FIORUCCI monogram, Napapijri branding and Fiorucci’s signature cherubic logo. The color palette ranges from pink to orange to blue, cream, white and black.

Daniel Fletcher, Fiorucci’s creative director of menswear, said of the collab : « The collection marries Napapijri’s technical know-how with Fiorucci’s flair and creativity. I wanted to make sure Fiorucci’s bold logos were front and center, while combining these iconic graphics with Napapijri’s sporty shapes and styles »

The Napapijri x Fiorucci Collection will be released on January 27, 2022 in Napapijri’s Milan and Fiorucci’s London stores, as well as online at napapijri.com.
