The German giant ADIDAS knows how to juggle between streetwear and luxury. After a 1st Triple S collaborative « White/Black » available for a few days last May, BALENCIAGA and the brand with 3 stripes announces the imminent release of the complete collection.
This new opus consists of both clothing, shoes and accessories.
ADIDAS and BALENCIAGA have combined their universes to offer us sportswear pieces inspired by retro college style and reworked in the spirit of luxury. Most of the pieces are presented in black with white logos and co-brandings. Some are red or white, or have just a touch of red or blue.
The textile collection includes a down jacket, a bomber, a sweat jacket, a hoodie, several styles of t-shirts, 2 pants and a pair of shorts. These pieces are reminiscent of adidas basics, but with the Balenciaga touch in terms of cuts and shapes.
On the footwear side, the partners have favored the Balenciaga Triple-S and Speed Trainer silhouettes. The offer also includes elegant heeled ankle boots with the adidas 3 stripes and a trackpant-heel hybrid pair that appears as adidas tracksuit bottoms sewn to Balenciaga slim boots. Finally, 2 versions of the Stan Smith with a worn-in look were co-created.
To complete the outfit, a range of leather bags is offered, from backpacks to small chic handbags, as well as a balaclava and an insulated water bottle.
The adidas x Balenciaga collection will be released on November 3, 2022 on the high fashion brand’s website Balenciaga.com and on the adidas CONFIRMED app. Let’s go !
