For many years now, Jamaica has had a very special relationship with the prestigious English brand Clarks. To pay tribute to this love story, Clarks decided to create a « Jamaica » pack in the colors of the Jamaican flag.
The Clarks teams selected and reworked three cult silhouettes renamed Jamaica Trek, Jamaica Bee and Desert Jamaica. Having had the chance to receive them, I suggest you to discover them in pictures on my feet. For this shooting, not being able to do it outside because of the rain during 4 days, I went to the photo studio of Pictures in Toulouse to shoot myself.
The Desert Jamaica has a black suede upper with yellow and green stitching on the toe box. Adorned with a subtle motif of the legendary Trek Man, this silhouette is finished off with a branded label, a slip-on buckle and an insole with a bold Jamaican flag inspired design. The whole is based on a black crepe sole.
The Jamaica Bee consists of a premium black suede upper with a bold Jamaican flag-inspired pattern at the ankle, heel and insole. We find a subtle motif of the legendary Trek Man on the side of the shoe. The whole is based on a black crepe sole.
The Jamaica Trek features a black suede upper. We find green and yellow stitching on a black leather heel insert, a subtle pattern of the legendary Trek Man on the inner side of the shoe. This ultra comfortable silhouette is finished off with a signature label, a slip-on buckle and a bold Jamaican flag-inspired insole.
I think the « Jamaica » collection is beautiful. As a West Indian who has mixed for years in a Reggae/Dance-Hall sound system, the Clarks is a cult shoe for me. This pack is really high quality with beautiful materials and finishes. You will have understood, I validate in 100% this collection.
