For several years, the worlds of fashion and sportswear have been coming together to merge their inspirations and design innovative pieces. REEBOK has already worked with big names like PYER MOSS and MAISON MARGIELA to bring an unexpected twist to cult silhouettes. Recently, a collaboration with the brand BOTTER has surfaced.
Founded in the Netherlands by Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh in 2018, the young brand BOTTER is gaining popularity thanks to its avant-garde approach to experimental fashion, its expert technique that combines streetwear elements and Caribbean inspirations, as well as its eco-friendly approach. She has already received emerging talent accolades, including the 2018 Hyères Festival Grand Prize, the Dries Van Noten Award, the Ann Demeulemeester Award, and the spot as a noticed finalist for the 2018 LVMH Award. For BOTTER’s designers, ecological sustainability is a priority for their products : they use environmentally conscious local manufacturers, use recycled materials, and continue to research new responsible methods to reduce their ecological footprint.

BOTTER unveiled this futuristic collab with REEBOK as part of the presentation of its FW23 collection at Paris Fashion Week in January 2023.
The 2 partners created the ‘Venus Comb Murex Shell’ sneaker, a 3D printed silhouette designed in partnership with Palo Alto, California-based HP Inc. It sports a look inspired by the Murex shells used as hair combs by the Greek goddess Venus in Greek mythology.
The bold, avant-garde design represents a fusion of REEBOK’s retro soccer silhouettes with the style of the 1st BOTTER shoe, the « Banker ». The most eye-catching and remarkable element is the thick, sculpted oversized sole with multiple grooves. This very special design inspired by Murex shells could be realized and 3D printed by the experts at HP.
The Venus Comb Murex Shell has been released in a variety of colorways, ranging from black to foam white, peeble grey, ocean blue, seaweed green and multi-colored versions incorporating shades of red, pink and purple.
The BOTTER x Reebok Venus Comb Murex Shell Sneaker will be released during the Fall 2023 season at select retailers and on partner sites botter.world and reebok.com. More details to come, stay tuned !
