The brand launched in 2014 by French rapper OrelSan and his friend fashion designer Sebastian Strappazon, AVNIER, presents its Spring/Summer 2021 collection. Named TECHS, this new drop is inspired by and pays homage to entertainment technicians. The streetwear label wanted to put the spotlight on these so-called « shadow » professionals who are going through difficult times since the beginning of the global health crisis.
The lookbook presents 6 technicians of different trades who participated in the last tour of OrelSan, 5 men and 1 woman. We discover them wearing pieces from the TECHS collection and performing their new daily tasks while their professional activity is stopped.
The collection consists of streetwear basics such as hoodies, sweatshirts, tracksuits, t-shirts, shorts and a « Live Jacket ». Caps, facemasks and socks are also available.
True to AVNIER’s philosophy of technical innovation and the use of thoughtful premium materials, all of these pieces are made in Portugal using GOTS certified organic cotton.
The color palette ranges from white to black, khaki, grey, beige and deep red. Some garments are simply adorned with AVNIER logos, while others are presented with technical graphics to match the theme of the collection.
