ASICS GEL-Lyte IIII « Misty Pine » & « Wood Crepe »

Japanese OEM ASICS continues to celebrate its iconic 30-year-old split-tongue sneaker, the GEL-Lyte III. The anniversary was celebrated extensively throughout the year. After recent collaborations, including Ronnie Fieg’s sublime collection of 30 variations, and a pack inspired by Daruma dolls, Asics presents two new GEL-Lyte III with harmonious designs : the « Misty Pine » and « Wood Crepe ».

These shoes are dressed in a colors’ palette in shades of grey-blue for the « Misty Pine » and beige-pink for the « Wood Crepe ». They consist of an upper entirely in suede.

The « Misty Pine » iteration has a light grey toe box and the rest of the foot is covered with ocean blue. The « Wood Crepe » version has a gradient of beige, with the lightest shade applied to the toe box. To add cachet to the pair, the emblematic side Tigers Stripes are dressed in a beautiful pastel shade : water green or pink, depending on the iteration. Each of these colors is used to define the heel tab and the traditional branding bordered on the side heel counter of the iteration in question. The laces and midsole appear in yellowed white, while the lining and outsole take up the shade of the toe box, elegantly finalizing the harmony of the design.

The ASICS GEL-Lyte IIII « Misty Pine » & « Wood Crepe » were released in Australia on December 4, 2020. They are expected to arrive soon in the United States and Europe, on Asics.com and at selected retailers, for a retail price of 120€. Stay tuned…
