The American giant NIKE continues to celebrate the 40 years of the famous Air Force 1 through exclusive collabs and special editions. After the teasing of the version designed with the label WHO DECIDES WAR (article available HERE), the Swoosh brand unveils an iteration Mid « Star-Sangled ».
The design by Bruce Kilgore features a subtly bold look.
The shoe features a smooth white leather upper with star-shaped perforations that reveal the light grey underlay. This style extends from the toe box to the quarter panels to the collar. The overlays, ankle strap and side Swoosh are presented in grained white leather. To add a vintage touch, the pair benefits from a yellowed sole and laces. In terms of branding details, they are discreetly embroidered in tone-on-tone on the white ankle strap and heel tab, to leave the main focus on the « star » style.
