The iconic British retailer SIZE? and the German sportswear giant ADIDAS have a privileged relationship. For many years, the two brands have been offering attractive and qualitative collabs, but also exclusive products (many articles available on this site). ADIDAS turned to SIZE? for the launch of its new Adidas Bern duo.
The Adidas Bern is part of the ADIDAS City Series, one of the German brand’s sneaker lines that refers to the most important capitals of the world.
Last June, the German brand and the British retailer offered us an exclusive « Anniversary City Series » sneaker that paid tribute to the 12 models of the collection released throughout a decade, from 2010 to 2020.
The famous adidas Originals Bern comes in two bold colorways that reference the characteristics of the German-speaking Swiss city : blue/gold « City of Fountains » and red/dark brown/yellow corresponding to the colors of the flag and the Bernese coat of arms.
The shoe features a blue or red suede upper depending on the version, complemented by 3-Stripes with gold or brown/yellow leather serrated finishes respectively. The 1st version features a gold heel tab with a blue Trefoil logo and the red pair has a bright yellow heel tab with red branding. A tongue of the titular color with embossed patterns, laces matching the upper and the name of the model affixed to the quarter panel of gold color finalize the look. The whole is based on a semi-translucent rubber sole, beige for the blue iteration and brown for the red version.
The adidas Originals Archive Bern SIZE? Exclusive duo is available via an open raffle until October 27, 2022 on the SIZE?LAUNCHES app of the UK retailer. The price is set at $92 (£80) per pair and sizes ranging from UK 6 to UK 12. Don’t sleep !
