[:fr]Plus tôt cette année, les pionniers du streetwear japonais UNDERCOVER et WTAPS s’étaient associés pour une collection exclusive « ONE ON ONE ». Aujourd’hui, les 2 partenaires dévoilent un second drop, ainsi qu’une Converse Chuck Taylor 70 Z Hi triple collaborative.
Côté vêtements, la collection UNDERCOVER x WTAPS s’articule autour d’une chemise, de 2 styles de t-shirts noirs oversize et d’un bob. Ces pièces adoptent un look simple, élégant et épuré, fidèle à l’esthétisme original des 2 marques.
La chemise est déclinée en blanc ou beige et se voit ornée du long patch noir contrastant « ONE ON ONE » sur la zone des boutons. Le t-shirt noir nous est proposé à manches courtes ou manches longues et arbore des tags de branding et la mention ONE ON ONE de couleur blanche sur la partie basse. Beige ou noir, le bob se pare d’une petite étiquette de branding blanche et des inscriptions de type industriel « UNDERCOVER WTAPS 2022 COLLECTION ‘ONE ON ONE’ ».
Pour compléter l’outfit, Jun Takahashi d’UNDERCOVER et Tetsu Nishiyama de WTAPS ont fait équipe avec Converse pour revisiter la Chuck Taylor 70 Z Hi, le « Z » signifie la fermeture par zip.
La sneaker se compose d’une empeigne en toile noire, contrastée par des coutures apparentes de couleur blanche. Le look est complété par une fermeture éclair argent métallique et des inscriptions de branding blanches de style industriel au niveau du talon latéral déjà vues sur le bob : « UNDERCOVER WTAPS 2022 COLLECTION ‘ONE ON ONE’ ». La paire bénéficie d’une coque en caoutchouc sur la toe box de couleur blanc cassé, assortie à la semelle vulcanisée.
La collection UNDERCOVER x WTAPS « ONE ON ONE » part. 2 sortira le 17 septembre 2022 en boutique et online sur store.undercoverism.com. Les prix varient entre 75€ (¥1100) et 198€ (¥28600). On the apparel side, the UNDERCOVER x WTAPS collection is built around a shirt, 2 styles of oversized black t-shirts and a bucket hat. These pieces adopt a simple, elegant and refined look, faithful to the original aesthetic of the 2 brands.
The shirt is available in white or beige and is adorned with the contrasting black patch « ONE ON ONE » on the button area. The black t-shirt is available in short or long sleeves and features branding tags and the ONE ON ONE mention in white on the bottom part. Beige or black, the bucket hat is adorned with a small white branding tag and the industrial type inscriptions « UNDERCOVER WTAPS 2022 COLLECTION ‘ONE ON ONE’ ».
To complete the outfit, UNDERCOVER’s Jun Takahashi and WTAPS’ Tetsu Nishiyama teamed up with Converse to revisit the Chuck Taylor 70 Z Hi, the « Z » stands for zip closure.
The sneaker consists of a black canvas upper contrasted by exposed white stitching. The look is completed with a metallic silver zipper and white industrial-style branding lettering at the side heel already seen on the bucket hat : « UNDERCOVER WTAPS 2022 COLLECTION ‘ONE ON ONE’ ». The pair features a rubber shell on the off-white toe box, matching the vulcanized sole.
The UNDERCOVER x WTAPS « ONE ON ONE » collection part. 2 will be released on September 17, 2022 in stores and online at store.undercoverism.com. Prices range from $76 (¥1100) to $198 (¥28600).
