Quelques heures après avoir présenté sa prochaine collab avec Concepts, la fameuse marque NEW BALANCE dévoile son nouveau projet imaginé avec le leader du workwear, CARHARTT WIP.
Basée sur la silhouette 990v6, cette nouvelle collaboration relance la collection « Sculpture Center » comprenant une 990v1 sortie l’année dernière.
La toute nouvelle 990v6 spéciale combine parfaitement les ADN des 2 marques. Elle conserve le shape et l’outillage de performance de New Balance, tout en se parant des couleurs phares de Carhartt WIP.
La sneaker se compose d’une empeigne en mesh technique gris, complété par des superpositions en nubuck marron ‘Hamilton Brown’. L’emblématique logo N latéral opte pour une teinte gris anthracite, alors que le renfort de talon arrière apparaît de couleur gris clair bleuté et orné du logo NB ainsi que de la mention ‘Made in USA’. Pour affirmer la collab, le co-branding se distingue sur l’insole et la languette comporte le branding ‘Carhartt WORK IN PROGRESS’ en relief, avec les flèches directionnelles sur le passant de lacets. L’ensemble repose sur une épaisse et confortable midsole contrastante crème/beige/gris foncé en mousse dotée de l’amorti FuelCell, et sur une outsole en caoutchouc noir et marron qui harmonise le tout.

Based on the 990v6 silhouette, this new collaboration relaunches the « Sculpture Center » collection including a 990v1 released last year.
The all-new special 990v6 perfectly combines the DNA of the 2 brands. It retains the shape and performance tooling of New Balance, while adorning itself with the flagship colors of Carhartt WIP.
The sneaker consists of a grey technical mesh upper, complemented by ‘Hamilton Brown’ nubuck overlays. The emblematic N side logo opts for an anthracite grey shade, while the rear heel reinforcement appears in a light bluish grey color and adorned with the NB logo as well as the words ‘Made in USA’. To affirm the collab, the co-branding stands out on the insole and the tongue features the ‘Carhartt WORK IN PROGRESS’ branding in relief, with directional arrows on the lace loop. The whole is based on a thick and comfortable contrasting cream/beige/dark grey foam midsole with FuelCell cushioning, and a black and brown rubber outsole which harmonizes everything.
