Lors de la présentation de sa collection Fall/Winter 2022 plus tôt ce mois-ci, le shop américain BODEGA avait dévoilé une collab inédite avec CLARKS basée sur l’iconique silhouette de la Wallabee. Baptisée « Heritage Patchwork », cette chaussure exclusive a été présentée en détails et obtient une date de sortie.
En 2019, la légendaire marque de chaussures et le détaillant de streetwear s’étaient associés pour la 1ère fois. Les partenaires nous avaient proposé un duo de Wallabee d’inspiration patchwork (article disponible ICI).
Pour ce nouvel opus, les partenaires conservent l’esprit patchwork de leur 1ère collab, tout en optant pour des matériaux aux motifs variés et des teintes automnales.
Cette nouvelle version de la célèbre Wallabee boot réimaginée par BODEGA arbore un look « English chic ». Elle combine du daim fauve avec du velours côtelé et du cuir marron, du daim bleu imitant du denim et du tweed avec un motif en zig-zag typique moutarde/marron. Les lacets marron apparaissent très épais et torsadés, et comportent un élégant dubrae en cuir marron doté du logo B de BODEGA. Pour compléter le look, la paire bénéficie d’une insole rouge ornée d’un co-branding or, d’un double hangtag reprenant les noms des 2 partenaires et d’un tag en cuir BODEGA cousu au niveau du col. L’ensemble repose sur une semelle en crêpe vintage jaunie qui finalise harmonieusement le design.
Bodega a commenté : « Avec une veste en jean, une casquette scaly et une paire de velours côtelé, ou avec une paire de jeans parfaitement de saison, un haut de rugby, sous une veste militaire, au petit déjeuner anglais new age du tweed blazer et pull de cricket en maille torsadée associés à un sweat à capuche et un short cargo camouflage, les Wallabees Heritage Patchwork résistent à toutes les coupes d’une manière qui ferait peur aux autres options. »

In 2019, the legendary shoe brand and the streetwear retailer had partnered for the 1st time. The partners had offered us a patchwork-inspired Wallabee duo (article available HERE).
For this new opus, the partners keep the patchwork spirit of their 1st collab, while opting for materials with various patterns and autumnal colors.
This new version of the famous Wallabee boot reimagined by BODEGA has an « English chic » look. It combines tan suede with corduroy and brown leather, blue suede imitating denim and tweed with a typical mustard/brown zig-zag pattern. The brown laces appear extra thick and twisted, and feature a stylish brown leather dubrae with BODEGA’s B logo. To complete the look, the pair presentes a red insole with gold co-branding, a double hangtag with the names of the 2 partners and a BODEGA leather tag sewn into the collar. The whole is based on a yellowed vintage crepe sole that harmoniously finalizes the design.
