Lors de la présentation de sa dernière collection, le créateur de mode britannique Craig Green a teasé une sandale très spéciale. Cette silhouette inédite affirme la réactivation du partenariat avec ADIDAS.
Après nous avoir proposé des CG SCUBA PHORMAR et des Squash Polta AKH les années passées, le designer visionnaire présente une sandale illustrant parfaitement son univers audacieux. Elle arbore le thème de déconstruction/reconstruction signature Craig Green. Bien que l’inspiration ne soit pas encore connue, ce modèle peut laisser penser qu’il est une vision modernisée des toutes premières chaussures antiques.
Dévoilée en 3 coloris, blanc, noir et gris, la sandale est fabriquée à partir de mousse fine et opte pour un look aéré en « bandes » et « lanières ». Uniquement les orteils et le coup de pied sont protégés par ces bandes. Les autres parties du pied sont découvertes. Le maintien du pied est assuré par un duo de lanières entourant le talon. Sur le haut du pied, on découvre le co-branding et au niveau du talon, le logo Trefoil d’adidas. L’ensemble repose sur une semelle très fine également en mousse.

[:en]During the presentation of his latest collection, British fashion designer Craig Green teased a very special sandal. This unique silhouette affirms the reactivation of the partnership with ADIDAS.
After offering us CG SCUBA PHORMAR and Squash Polta AKH in the past years, the visionary designer presents a sandal that perfectly illustrates his audacious universe. It features Craig Green’s signature deconstruction/reconstruction theme. Although the inspiration is not yet known, this model may suggest that it is a modernized vision of the very first antique shoes.
Unveiled in 3 colorways, white, black and grey, the sandal is made from fine foam and opts for an airy look in « bands » and « straps ». Only the toes and the instep are protected by these bands. The other parts of the foot are uncovered. Foot support is ensured by a pair of straps surrounding the heel. On the top of the foot, we discover the co-branding and on the heel, the adidas Trefoil logo. The whole is based on a very thin sole also in foam.
The ADIDAS x Craig Green Sandal could be released in the coming months, at select retailers and on adidas’ CONFIRMED app. For the latest official details, stay tuned !
