Il y a quelques semaines, je vous parlais dans un article (dispo ICI) de la dernière collaboration entre le shop de Bangkok 24 Kilates et la marque italienne Diadora. Pour le design de cette 6ème collaboration, la boutique d’origine espagnole s’est inspirée de Cobi, la mascotte olympique conçue par Javier Mariscal pour les J.O de Barcelone en 1992.
Ayant eu la possibilité de me procurer la Diadora V7000 « Friends for Life », je vous propose de la découvrir en images à mes pieds.
Fabriquée en Italie, cette sneaker se compose d’un upper en nuances de marron et de jaune combinant 3 cuir premium différents : nappa, peau de porc et cuir de cheval. Les superpositions en fourrure sur le milieu du pied et le talon rappellent les poils du fameux chien mis à l’honneur à travers cette collab. Des perforations sur la toe box, des coutures en zig-zag, des accents blancs et d’autres noirs ajoutent du cachet à la paire. Pour compléter le look et affirmer l’inspiration, la languette se pare d’un patch en forme de tête de chien comportant l’inscription « Amigos para Siempre » (le titre original de la chanson). La chaussure bénéficie également d’une insole ornée d’un graphisme en all over et d’un hangtag reprenant le design de l’étiquette de languette. L’ensemble repose sur une midsole blanche avec un clip de talon beige assorti à l’oustole en caoutchouc.
La 24 Kilates x Diadora V7000 « Friends for Life » déjà sortie chez 24 Kilates, sera disponible dans les jours à venir chez quelques retailers à travers le monde au prix de 230€.

For the design of this 6th collaboration, the store of Spanish origin was inspired by Cobi, the Olympic mascot designed by Javier Mariscal for the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992.
Having had the opportunity to get the Diadora V7000 « Friends for Life », I suggest you to discover it in pictures on my feet.
Made in Italy, this sneaker is composed of an upper in shades of brown and yellow combining 3 different premium leathers : nappa, pigskin and horse leather. Fur overlays on the midfoot and heel recall the hair of the famous dog featured in this collab. Perforations on the toe box, zig-zag stitching, white and black accents add character to the pair. To complete the look and affirm the inspiration, the tongue is adorned with a patch in the shape of a dog’s head with the inscription « Amigos para Siempre » (the original title of the song). The shoe also has an insole with an all-over graphic and a hangtag that mirrors the design of the tongue label. The whole is based on a white midsole with a beige heel clip that matches the rubber outsole.
The 24 Kilates x Diadora V7000 « Friends for Life » already released at 24 Kilates, will be available in the coming days at a few retailers around the world for 230€ (near $240).
