Plus d’un an après le teasing d’une prochaine collab TROPHY ROOM x Jordan Brand basée sur la AJ 7, les premières photos officielles viennent de faire surface. Tout d’abord envisagée pour sortir en 2021, cette paire sera finalement disponible au cours des derniers mois de 2022 et participera ainsi à la célébration des 30 ans du modèle.
Comme évoqué précédemment, Marcus Jordan, le fils de His Airness et fondateur de la boutique d’Orlando, a choisi le thème des légendaires Jeux Olympiques de Barcelone en 1992 pour revisiter la AJ7. Michael Jordan et le reste de la Dream Team avait remporté la médaille d’or.
La bball s’habille des couleurs emblématiques blanc, bleu marine et rouge. Elle rappelle la AJ7 « Olympic » mais se pare de modifications subtiles et luxueuses.
Cette version collaborative nommée se compose d’un upper en daim rouge avec des superpositions en daim blanc tirant vers le beige. Pour compléter le look, la languette et les lacets sont présentés en bleu marine. Les détails de branding assurent la référence aux Jeux Olympiques : le Jumpman sous la cheville et les logos sur les talons apparaissent dorés, le tirant de talon arbore les couleurs des anneaux olympiques, la célèbre phrase de MJ dite à ses adversaires « New sheriff in town » est brodée sur la face interne de la languette et la date du 22 juin 1992, qui marque le 1er entrainement de la Dream Team à Barcelone, se distingue sur la doublure intérieure. Aussi, la signature de Michael Jordan orne le talon latéral et le co-branding se retrouve sur l’insole. L’ensemble repose sur une midsole blanche avec des inserts rouges et or, couplée à une outsole tricolore bleue/rouge avec une touche de blanc.
La chaussure sera livrée dans une box spéciale avec une illustration de terrain de basketball et accompagnée de 3 jeux de lacets pour assurer les meilleurs matchings, ainsi que d’un clipboard !

Originally planned to be released in 2021, this pair will finally be available in the last months of 2022 and will participate in the celebration of the 30 years of the model.
As previously mentioned, Marcus Jordan, the son of His Airness and founder of the Orlando store, chose the theme of the legendary 1992 Barcelona Olympics to revisit the AJ7. Michael Jordan and the rest of the Dream Team won the gold medal.
The bball is dressed in the iconic colors white, navy and red. It’s reminiscent of the AJ7 « Olympic » but with subtle and luxurious modifications.
This collaborative version features a red suede upper with white suede overlays tending towards beige. To complete the look, the tongue and laces are presented in navy blue. Branding details ensure the Olympic reference : the Jumpman under the ankle and the logos on the heels appear golden, the heel pull features the colors of the Olympic rings, MJ’s famous phrase said to his opponents « New sheriff in town » is embroidered on the inner side of the tongue and the date of June 22, 1992, which marks the Dream Team’s first training session in Barcelona, stands out on the inner lining. Also, Michael Jordan’s signature adorns the side heel and the co-branding is found on the insole. The whole is based on a white midsole with red and gold inserts, coupled with a blue/red tri-color outsole with a touch of white.
The shoe will come in a special box with a basketball court illustration and accompanied by 3 sets of laces to ensure the best matchups, as well as a clipboard!
