[vc_row][vc_column width= »1/2″][vc_column_text]Il y a quelques semaines, je vous parlais dans un article (dispo ICI) de la réédition d’une collaboration culte ayant marqué le début des années 2000 : La Nike Air Huarache x Stüssy « Desert Oak ». Issues d’un pack, la Stüssy « Desert Oak » et la « Olive » étaient sorties en 2000 en quantité limitée et exclusivement dans la boutique londonienne Stüssy.
Ayant eu la possibilité de la recevoir grâce à mon partenaire FOOTSHOP, je vous propose de la découvrir en images à mes pieds. J’ai décidé d’associer cette très jolie paire à un outfit 100% Carhartt.
Cette itération 2021 reste fidèle à la OG. Elle se compose d’un upper en synthétique blanc cassé avec des superpositions en nubuck lisse marron. L’emblématique cage de talon en TPU est teinté en vert olive sur les côtés et beige-translucide sur la partie arrière. Pour compléter le design, un empiècement gris clair recouvre la zone étendue de la languette et s’enroule autour du col. Le logo Huarache rouge cousu sur la languette apporte une belle touche de contraste. L’ensemble repose sur une midsole blanc cassé assortie à l’empeigne et combinée à une outsole vert olive.
Je valide à 100% cette « Desert oak » aux couleurs automnales qui m’a tout de suite fait penser à la gamme ACG de chez Nike. C’est très certainement cela qui m’a poussé à aller shooter en milieu naturel. La qualité des matériaux reste correcte mais les finitions laissent à désirer, avec de nombreuses traces de colle sur l’ensemble de la chaussure. Que fait le service qualité chez Nike ? Malgré ce désagrément, je reste fan de ce coloris culte.

Having had the opportunity to receive it thanks to my partner FOOTSHOP, I suggest you to discover it in pictures at my feet. I decided to combine this very pretty pair with a 100% Carhartt outfit.
This 2021 iteration remains faithful to the OG. It consists of an off-white synthetic upper with brown smooth nubuck overlays. The emblematic TPU heel cage is dyed olive green on the sides and beige-translucent on the back. To complete the design, a light grey insert covers the extended tongue area and wraps around the collar. The red Huarache logo sewn on the tongue brings a nice touch of contrast. The whole is based on an off-white midsole matching the vamp and combined with an olive green outsole.
I validate in 100% this « Desert oak » with its fall colors that immediately reminded me of the ACG line from Nike. This is certainly what pushed me to go shooting in a natural environment. The quality of the materials remains correct but the finishes are flawed, with many traces of glue on the whole shoe. What does the quality department at Nike do ?
