L’emblématique label streetwear STÜSSY dévoile une nouvelle collaboration avec une marque du conglomérat Nike, Inc. Après nous avoir proposé un trio de Nike Air Max 2013/2015 il y a quelques jours, Shawn Stussy et sa team se sont associés à Converse pour réimaginer la fameuse Chuck 70.
Après quelques années difficiles, Converse a rejoint le conglomérat Swoosh en 2003. Depuis, les projets s’enchaînent et certains sont même devenus des bangers !
Avec la vision de Stüssy, la légendaire Chuck 70 arbore un look audacieux accrocheur. Le label californien a ajouté son motif « Surfman » sur la silhouette traditionnelle.
La chaussure se compose d’un upper en chanvre rose vif avec un logo Surfman brodé en noir sur la cheville à la place de l’habituelle étoile. Cette dernière se distingue en tout discrétion sur la face interne de la doublure blanc cassé. D’autres petits éléments apparaissent « cachés » ou « modifiés », comme le logo Stüssy tamponné sur la face interne de la languette et l’étiquette « All Star » ajoutée sur le branding de languette. Pour compléter le look, la toebox apparaît en caoutchouc blanc et les œillets en argent métallique. Une semelle traditionnelle blanche avec des lignes noires apporte la touche finale au design.

With Stüssy’s vision, the legendary Chuck 70s sports a bold, eye-catching look. The California-based label added its « Surfman » motif to the traditional silhouette.
The shoe consists of a hot pink hemp upper with a Surfman logo embroidered in black on the ankle instead of the usual star. The latter stands out discreetly on the inside of the off-white lining. Other small elements appear « hidden » or « modified », such as the Stüssy logo stamped on the inside of the tongue and the « All Star » label added on the tongue branding. To complete the look, the toebox appears in white rubber and the eyelets in metallic silver. A traditional white sole with black lines adds the finishing touch to the design.
The Stüssy x Converse Chuck 70 « Surfman » will be released on August 26, 2022 in select STÜSSY and DOVER STREET MARKET stores, as well as on stussy.com. It will then arrive online at converse.com on September 1st. Be ready !
