Il y a quelques jours, le célèbre shop PATTA teasait une nouvelle collaboration avec la marque New Balance (article disponible ICI). Aujourd’hui des compléments d’informations et les détails officiels de sortie ont été communiqués sur le site de l’enseigne streetwear d’Amsterdam.
Patta apporte sa touche pour la 1ère fois sur la silhouette de la NB 990v3. Cette version spéciale a été conçue en taille adultes et enfants. C’est la 1ère fois également que la boutique hollandaise conçoit une chaussure pour enfant. Légendée « Keep Your Family Close », elle défend le pouvoir de l’unité et de la cohésion familiale. Par le mot famille, Patta entend les liens du sang mais aussi élargit aux amis devenus des membres à part entière de la famille, comme Edson et Gee, les fondateurs de Patta. On retrouve d’ailleurs les 2 « frères de cœur » dans la campagne pour cette collab, tournée par le photographe namibien Kyle Weeks, avec aussi un peu d’aide des enfants Patta. La campagne prend pour scène la dynamique et le partage autour d’un barbecue familial, où, en plus de manger, les adultes discutent et les enfants jouent entre eux.
La NB 990v3 réinterprétée par Patta arbore une conception premium en combinaison de couleur vert olive/sable et vert fluo. Elle se compose d’un upper en mesh olive, avec des superpositions en daim et nubuck en ton sur ton ou dans des nuances de cette couleur principale. Dans un esprit harmonieux, le logo N latéral apparaît gris reflective, le heel tab et la partie speckled de la midsole sont présentés en gris neutre. Une belle touche de contraste et d’audace est apportée par des empiècements vert fluo au niveau de la toe box et de la zone sous cheville. Pour affirmer la collab, la marque Patta est gravée sur le talon latéral, et l’emblématique logo « P » orne le talon à la place du traditionnel badge « NB ». Il se voit entouré de la mention « made in U.S.A » ainsi que du branding New Balance. Une confortable semelle intermédiaire blanc cassé et une outsole en caoutchouc noir peaufinent élégamment le look.
Pour accompagner cette sneaker, Patta a conçue une collection capsule. Pour les adultes, elle comprend un sweat-shirt à col rond vert fluo et un pantalon de survêtement assorti, ainsi qu’un t-shirt à manches courtes vert kaki. Pour les enfants, le détaillant hollandais propose le bas de jogging fluo et le t-shirt à manches courtes kaki. Ces pièces sont ornées d’un co-branding exclusif Patta x NB « Keep Your Family Close » incluant le print d’un arbre, qui symbolise les racines de chacun et l’arbre généalogique. Ce branding exclusif apparaît en taille discrète sur le sweat shirt et le pantalon, et en oversize au dos du t-shirt.
La collection PATTA X NEW BALANCE 990V3 AND APPAREL « Keep Your Family Close » sortira le 30 septembre 2022 en boutique et sur via un lien spécial sur le site du shop d’Amsterdam : newbalance.patta.nl. Les prix sont fixés à 250€ pour la NB 990v3 adulte, 70€ pour la taille enfant et 90€ pour les cadets. Le sweat est au prix de 95€ et le pantalon 110€ (la version enfant est à 45€) et le t-shirt coûtera 45€ pour les grands et 29€ pour les petits. Patta brings his touch for the 1st time on the NB 990v3 silhouette. This special version has been designed in both adult and kids sizes. It’s also the first time that the Dutch store designs a shoe for children. With the caption « Keep Your Family Close », it defends the power of family unity and cohesion. By the word family, Patta means blood ties but also extends to friends who have become full members of the family, like Edson and Gee, the founders of Patta. We can find the 2 « brothers of heart » in the campaign for this collab, shot by the Namibian photographer Kyle Weeks, with a little help from the Patta children. The campaign takes as a scene the dynamics and sharing around a family barbecue, where, in addition to eating, the adults discuss and the children play with each other.
The NB 990v3 reinterpreted by Patta features a premium design in an olive/sand and neon green color combination. It consists of an olive mesh upper, with suede and nubuck overlays in tone on tone or in shades of this main color. In a harmonious spirit, the side N logo appears reflective grey, the heel tab and the speckled part of the midsole are presented in neutral grey. A nice touch of contrast and boldness is provided by fluorescent green inserts at the toe box and the area under the ankle. To affirm the collab, the Patta brand is engraved on the side heel, and the iconic « P » logo adorns the heel instead of the traditional « NB » badge. It’s surrounded by the words « made in U.S.A. » and the New Balance branding. A comfortable off-white midsole and black rubber outsole elegantly finish the look.
To accompany this sneaker, Patta has designed a capsule collection. For adults, it includes a neon green crewneck sweatshirt and matching sweatpants, as well as a khaki green short-sleeve tee. For kids, the Dutch retailer offers the neon jogging bottoms and the khaki short-sleeved t-shirt. These pieces feature an exclusive Patta x NB « Keep Your Family Close » co-branding that includes a tree print, which symbolizes one’s roots and family tree. This exclusive branding appears in a discreet size on the sweatshirt and the pants, and in oversize on the back of the shirt.
The PATTA X NEW BALANCE 990V3 AND APPAREL « Keep Your Family Close » collection will be released on September 30, 2022 in stores and via a special link on the Amsterdam shop’s website : newbalance.patta.nl. Prices are set at 250€ for the NB 990v3 adult and 70€ for the child size and 90€ for the cadets.
