NIKE KILLSHOT OG SP

[:en]The imminent return of the tennis shoe that has become a must-have for a wide public : the Nike Killshot in colorway OG SP , is announced. This pair was designed more than forty years ago and has enjoyed great popularity, thanks in particular to the retailer J.Crew, who organized pre-sales that generated a strong craze when new colorways were released. After a version 2 with a leather base and a collaboration with Size? in 2015, Nike now offers us a return to the roots with three emblematic colorways on this simple and casual sneaker.

We find the Nike Killshot in its version most faithful to the original 1979 model, thanks to the materials used and its silhouette in OG construction.

The colorways offered match the colour of the smooth leather that covers the swoosh, heel tab and lining : a green, a red and a blue.

The shoe consists of a breathable mesh base with light grey suede overlays on the toe and heel tab.

Depending on the colour of the swoosh, the overall white mesh becomes lightly tinted to enhance the OG colour. Thus, this material seems to have a matte lining with the bright colour present on the shoe, except for the green colour, whose upper appears rather off-white.

This thin and refined silhouette is a sign of a return to the roots and can be seen as a nod to the old racquet game shoes before the NikeCourt era.

To complete the vintage design of the model, the Nike brand is written in full on the heel, the laces appear yellowed and the tongue is made of exposed foam and features the original Nike branding label.

To finalize the original style of the model, the whole is based on an off-white rubber sole.

The three colorways : green, red and blue of this NIKE KILLSHOT OG SP will be available on May 22nd via a raffle on the website of selected shops such as END. and SNS for a recommended retail price of 90€.
