La chaussure de couleur jaune pastel se compose d’un upper combinant du mesh sur la toe box et du nylon sur le milieu du pied et le col, avec des superpositions en cuir. Le mudguard et le Swoosh latéral se présentent en cuir lisse de couleur unie jaune pastel, alors que les panneaux latéraux et le talon sont recouverts d’un motif blanc reprenant la mention « air » dans un style retro 70’s. Des accents vert foncé, comme les brandings de languette et de talon, ainsi que les lacets et les œillets supérieurs, apportent une belle touche de contraste. Un lining blanc et une insole verte recouverte de citrons jaunes finalisent le design. L’ensemble repose sur une midsole blanche avec une unité Air de teinte verte, combinée à une outsole noire.
N’ayant pas pu avoir la version de 2006, je valide complètement cette réédition qui dispose d’un shape correct, d’une couleur assez fidèle au modèle original et d’une qualité moyenne qui fera tout de même l’affaire. The pastel yellow shoe consists of an upper combining mesh on the toe box and nylon on the middle of the foot and the collar, with leather overlays. The mudguard and side swoosh are made of smooth leather in a solid pastel yellow color, while the side panels and heel are covered with a white air pattern in a retro 70’s style. Dark green accents such as the tongue and heel brandings, as well as the laces and top eyelets, add a nice touch of contrast. A white lining and a green insole covered with yellow lemons finalize the design. The whole is based on a white midsole with a green Air unit combined with a black outsole.
Not having been able to get the 2006 version, I fully validate this reissue which has a correct shape, a color quite faithful to the original model and a medium quality that will still do the job.
