Au mois de février dernier, CLOT relançait son partenariat avec ADIDAS à travers une SUPERSTAR revisitée. Après la sortie de ce modèle au look preppy en version « White », le label d’Edison Chen et la marque aux 3 bandes le dévoilent dans un autre coloris intemporel : « Black ».
Cette collaboration entre CLOT et ADIDAS a été renouvelée après une décennie de silence et dévoilée lors du défilé Printemps/Été 2024 de CLOT.
Elégante et sophistiquée, la nouvelle CLOT x adidas Superstar « Black » apparaît majoritairement de couleur noire et se pare d’accents blancs.
Elle se compose d’un upper en cuir noir avec une shell toe de couleur assortie. Sur le quarter panel, les 3-Stripes s’habillent de blanc et sont cousues sur un cuir noir perforé qui accentue la respirabilité ainsi que le style ‘mocassin’.
Le thème est affirmé par l’ajout de pompons noirs au niveau de la languette, un heel tab noir aux finitions dentelées et une fine bande en cuir noire entourant le bas du pied. On découvre le co-branding appliqué en blanc sur la languette et l’insole. L’ensemble repose sur une épaisse semelle noire et crantée – dotée d’une ligne blanche contrastante – qui symbolise la fusion entre un modèle de sport et une mocassin vintage à la fois robuste et élégant.

[:en]Last February, CLOT relaunched its partnership with ADIDAS with a revisited SUPERSTAR. After the release of this preppy-looking model in a « White » version, Edison Chen‘s label and the brand with the 3 stripes unveil it in another timeless colorway : « Black ».
This collaboration between CLOT and ADIDAS was renewed after a decade of silence and unveiled at CLOT’s Spring/Summer 2024 show.
Elegant and sophisticated, the new CLOT x adidas Superstar « Black » is predominantly black with white accents.
It consists of a black leather upper with a color-matched shell toe. On the quarter panel, the 3-Stripes are dressed in white and sewn onto perforated black leather, accentuating breathability and the moccasin style.
The theme is reinforced by the addition of black tassels on the tongue, a black heel tab with serrated finish and a thin black leather band around the bottom of the foot. The white co-branding is applied to the tongue and insole. The whole is based on a thick, black, notched sole – with a contrasting white line – which symbolizes the fusion of a sports model and a vintage moccasin that is both robust and elegant.
The CLOT x adidas Superstar « Black » will be released on April 12, 2024 for $200, at selected retailers and on adidas.com. Get ready for it !
