Le shop britannique FOOTPATROL a pour habitude de nous proposer des collabs accrocheuses et innovantes. Après avoir fait équipe avec Mizuno au mois de décembre dernier afin de poursuivre la célébration de son 20ème anniversaire, la fameuse boutique présente un nouveau projet mené avec Elijah Maura, un talentueux artiste et illustrateur de 25 ans basé à New York.
A travers cette capsule collaborative, Elijah Maura met en lumière son goût du design contemporain en s’inspirant des teintes vives et du style graffiti cryptique des années 80 et 90. Les œuvres d’Elijah Maura ouvrent une nouvelle dimension artistique, tout en honorant les fondements de l’art qui sont profondément ancrés dans la discographie de la ville de New York.
La collection Footpatrol x Elijah Maura comprend 3 articles ornés des illustrations à la main de l’artiste de la côte Est : 2 t-shirts à manches courtes et un hoodie. Ces pièces sont ornées du branding FOOTPATROL.
Présenté de couleur blanche, le 1er t-shirt se pare d’une œuvre d’Elijah Maura sur la poitrine qui met en scène un groupe de personnes cosmopolite aux styles différents devant un arrêt de bus. Le 2ème t-shirt commémore la célébration du 20ème anniversaire de Footpatrol. Il apparaît de couleur noire et comporte un print imitant un flyer où l’on retrouve le groupe de personnes dessiné sur le 1er t-shirt. Le hoodie est totalement noir et se voit uniquement doté du branding Foopatrol sur la poitrine, apposé à la façon d’un graffiti.

Through this collaborative vignette, Elijah Maura highlights his taste for contemporary design by drawing inspiration from the bright hues and cryptic graffiti style of the 80s and 90s. Elijah Maura’s works open up a new artistic dimension, while honoring the foundations of art that are deeply rooted in the discography of New York City.
The Footpatrol x Elijah Maura collection includes 3 items adorned with the East Coast artist’s hand-drawn illustrations : 2 short sleeve t-shirts and a hoodie. These pieces feature the FOOTPATROL branding.
Presented in white, the 1st t-shirt features Elijah Maura’s artwork on the chest that depicts a cosmopolitan group of people with different styles in front of a bus stop. The 2nd shirt commemorates Footpatrol’s 20th anniversary celebration. It appears in black and has a print imitating a flyer where we find the group of people drawn on the 1st shirt. The hoodie is completely black and has only the Foopatrol branding on the chest in a graffiti style.
The Footpatrol x Elijah Maura collection will be released on February 2, 2023 in Footpatrol stores in London and Paris, and online at footpatrol.com. Don’t sleep !
